The goal of this project was to create a cohesive signage system that communicated the story, mission, and values of the Research Institute for Aging. Acting as both the lead designer and project manager, I oversaw the project from initial concept development through to final installation. The final outcome combined strategic environmental design, accessibility-focused communication, and brand-consistent visual storytelling to create a welcoming and informative space for visitors, researchers, and staff.
The project began with reviewing the organization’s strategic plan, existing branding, and environmental needs. I worked closely with stakeholders to understand how the signage could better communicate the institute’s mission and improve navigation throughout the space.
Using Photoshop and environmental mockups, I developed multiple signage concepts that aligned with the organization’s visual identity while remaining clear, engaging, and accessible.

A major part of this project involved collaboration with researchers, board members, and leadership teams. I coordinated feedback from multiple stakeholders, revised designs based on input, and ensured all final materials met both accessibility and branding requirements.
Beyond the design work, I coordinated directly with the signage company responsible for fabricating and installing the final pieces. I managed installation planning, placement logistics, and communication to ensure the final environment matched the approved vision.
